Brad Burton - The UK's #1 Motivational Speaker

Brad Burton

Brad Burton's journey from addiction and £25,000 in debt to becoming a millionaire businessman is a testament to his resilience and determination. Having struggled with drug addiction in his early 20s, Brad hit rock bottom when he was shot at to intimidate him into silence about a family matter. This life-altering experience forced him to reevaluate his choices and move to Somerset, where he eventually met his wife Kerry and started a family.

Despite being in debt and having no qualifications, Brad's charisma and positivity landed him a job in marketing. After a disagreement with his employer, he quit and decided to start his own business, 4Consultancy. Over time, the business grew into 4Networking, a national networking organisation with over £2 million in turnover. Alongside his business success, Brad managed to overcome his debt and addiction, ultimately becoming a millionaire.

Now focusing on his work as a motivational business speaker, coach, and mentor, Brad uses his past experiences to inspire others. He's a living example that anyone can overcome adversity and turn their life around. As a speaker, he emphasises the importance of self-belief, determination, and finding the positives in even the most difficult situations – all of which have been instrumental in his own journey to mental and emotional wellbeing.

Martin Roberts - Specialist on the Lived Mental Health Experience

Martin Roberts

We are not defined by single moments but by how we rise after we fall.

Martin has fallen hard, many times and through many of life’s challenges but he is a true role model for rising and helping others to rise as well.

A teenage survivor of Britain’s worst ever sporting disaster, Martin shares his vulnerability by speaking openly about that fateful day and how unbeknown to him, it would be the catalyst of what would be another personal fight for survival some 28 years later.

Martin found himself in 2017 on the brink of suicide following the death of his mother, his father’s cancer diagnosis, his wife developing a rare bone tumour and having to relive Hillsborough all over again through the ongoing legal proceedings.

Martin got as far as planning how he would take his own life but thankfully said the most important words, “I need help”. What happened from there not only saved his life but began to change his professional career in a completely new and exciting direction. On reflection, Martin would say that for many, many years that fateful date and experience defined him but he is proud to say that it is no longer the case. What defines him now is the lives that he has impacted through his talks and workshops.

A true leader is someone who balances humility with vulnerability; someone who can inspire through their words and actions. Martin does all of this and more. He shares his most vulnerable experiences with his audiences so that he can make a difference. He has taken his darkest moments and used these to shine a much-needed light on others.

Martin is someone who has seen the bottom and knows how it feels to fight and bounce back.

Nick Elston

“In life, in business, in education - we can either let our adversities, our challenges, define us negatively for the rest of our lives…or…we can choose for them to forge something beautiful, something powerful – something that never would have existed without you going through your ‘stuff’ in the first place. It takes the same energy to destroy us as it does to act as a catalyst for breakthrough change.”
